OUR STORY

Both are named after our grandmothers, who knew a thing or two about fabulous feasts and making people feel at home, we decided to  keep their legacy alive by sharing their rich culinary traditions and welcoming tables. Back home in France, they had travelled across culinary regions, from the coast to the countryside, to discover the best flavours France has to offer.

With Paulette, we introduced Londoners to the generous spirit of the South-West of France, inspired by Arcachon and the warm recipes of family tables. A bistro full of character, Paulette celebrates sharing, simplicity, and flavour.


Then came Josette, not Parisian in spirit, but rather a tribute to the countryside: abundant, rustic, and theatrical. Here, the French art of feasting takes centre stage, with a glamorous yet heartfelt twist.

"RECIPES FROM MEMORIES"

Mamie Good was born from friendship, family, and a deep love of food. In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Francois and Jean-François joined forces to create Paulette.

From these two worlds, we imagined Mamie Good: a brand that brings together Paulette, Josette, and whatever comes next. More than restaurants, Mamie Good is our way of celebrating French heritage, London’s vibrancy, and the simple truth that food tastes best when it’s shared.

We proudly serve ethically sourced, grass-fed beef matured for at least 28 days, free-range pork from Jimmy Butler's Blythburgh farm, and fresh fish from the British seas. Working with trusted suppliers, we bring the best of the land and sea to your plate.

 

Every recipe is made with 100% fresh products, prepared daily in our kitchens.
